One day workshop exploring the effectiveness of Hypnotherapy in the treatment of different Skin Disorders.

The aim of the workshop is to broaden the theoretical and practical knowledge of hypnotherapists and to give them the confidence to practise hypnotherapy safely with their patients suffering with skin disorders.

Participants will learn about:

• Basic medical facts regarding the most common skin conditions treated with hypnosis - Verruca, Psoriasis, Atopic dermatitis, Urticaria, Neurodermatitis, Trichotillomania and many more.
• Psychological aspects of skin diseases
• Psychosomatic Dermatology
• Physiology of the mind and skin connection
• Scientific research in the application of hypnosis in dermatology
• Hypnotherapeutic techniques used in the treatment of different skin conditions

Hypnosis is currently an underused therapy in dermatology. This workshop gives well-trained hypnotherapists the necessary theoretical and practical foundation to approach dermatologists and GPs for suitable patients’ referrals.
